Warning from a Penetration Test....

Our Company wanted me to perform Penetration Tests on various servers at night.

The CEO worked out the time frames from 11pm to 3am.

I warned them that performing Pen Tests on Production Servers and equipment could potentially crash the server, device and/or network.

In the meeting with the CEO, CISO, HR and IT VP, all looked at each other and said "it's ok, that never happens".

The first night, they did not like being called out of bed at 11:05pm.
